Ominous signs - and it sounds like there are major concerns in both of those areas, if the article is right. Worrying signs for any production, let alone one that haas been as unstable as this one.
Interesting but no deal
Jan. 5th, 2012 10:25 pmBecause I love post-apocalyptic fiction in almost any form, I thought I would give The Colony a watch. And watch I did - the entire first season in one marathon sitting. As a series that didn't pretend to be a reality series, it might have worked quite well but, given its self-claimed "reality" label, it was no go for me. The solutions were so elaborate with always the right part / ingredient / resource / location just around the corner, it was all too easy and smooth - not one project failed in the entire series? Really?

Jan. 4th, 2012 10:16 pmJust watched the first 4 episodes of this series on DVD. I have to say that I'm bored - the two leads just don't do anything for me and the plot seems clunky and cumbersome - although I did enjoy the explanation as to why Howard Hughes became so reclusive and paranoid in his final years.
I'm not sure if I'll watch the rest - probably will end up doing so simply because I paid for the DVD's but still .....

When I got level with the house, I realised that it was the silent alarm flashing indicator light for the house!

Better than I rememebered
Dec. 24th, 2011 11:01 pmJust finished watching the Dr. Horrible DVD - I'd forgotten about David Fury and Marti Noxon's cameo. Also, I'd never seen the Commentary: The Musical so that was certainly a bonus!
