catalyst2 | Interesting but no deal

Because I love post-apocalyptic fiction in almost any form, I thought I would give The Colony a watch. And watch I did - the entire first season in one marathon sitting. As a series that didn't pretend to be a reality series, it might have worked quite well but, given its self-claimed "reality" label, it was no go for me. The solutions were so elaborate with always the right part / ingredient / resource / location just around the corner, it was all too easy and smooth - not one project failed in the entire series? Really?
