Not quite sure how you have a trailer for a book

but here it is. )

Nice cover

The cover Double Dexter is a little plain but very much in keeping with the theme
and it's behind the cut. )

According to EzyDVD, the release date should be 18th August. I guess that means that we'll get the DVD before it is ever on free-to-air TV again!

I bought The Psychology of Dexter from Dymocks today. Only just started reading it but quite interesting so far.

Sad though it is that S5 hasn't even been shown here yet

here's the S6 trailer. )

Just finished watching Dexter S4 and, remembering what the main antagonist's name was, thought that the high rotation advertising for Trinity was a bit tacky - did they not get what the association would be for their product?

No, this is not some bizarre witch's brew - it is the real thing. Now I sound like a Coke ad! And it is definitely coming out on 18th October, as per the info in the link. WOOHOO!

Double Dexter is out on 18th October 2011, according to Amazon. Hmmmm .....

I cannot believe that I missed Jeff Lindsay at the Perth Writers Festival? Damn it!

I like the comment at the very end about the new Dexter book
*SPOILERS* ahoy! )

If any of the articles I've read over the last day or two (for example RabidDoll's), it seems likely that Dexter is close to getting renewed for its sixth season. The recent viewing figures (see the aforementioned article) certainly seem to be encouraging.

I liked this book a lot more than the last two

and here's why. )

I dived into the shops on the way home from work tonight and grabbed Dexter is Delicious. I've only read the first forty pages or so - but it's already much better than the last two books because Dexter sounds like Dexter again. I can't make too many judgements about the plot because it's only just starting to build up but I am enjoying it immensely already. Let's see if that feeling lasts all the way through the book!

Why would you make Dexter by Design available eleven frakking days earlier than it is even supposed to be published and then not advertise it until after the shops have shut? Why, Dymocks, why?

Now I'll have to wait until Monday!

According to EzyDVD, the R4 release date is Thursday, 4th November 2010. The cover art is exactly the same as the R1 box set.

The new Dexter book is called Dexter is Delicious and is due out on 7th September according to Random House.

Here's the blurb and cover. )

Following up on yesterday's release date announcement, the cover for the box set has also been released

and it's here too. )

According to TVShowsOnDVD, the date will be August 17th. None of the Australian sites have a release date specified yet - not surprising considering that S4 hasn't even aired here yet!

It sounds like the next season of will be returning to its roots according to Dexter executive producer Sara Colleton.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

The list, according to SCI FI Wire has five nominations from Dexter:
Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series, Best Actor in Television (for Michael C Hall), Best Supporting Actress in Television (for both Julie Benz and Jennifer Carpenter) and Best Guest Starring Role in Television (for John Lithgow). Let's hope several of those get through!
