The box set will be released on 4th August according to EzyDVD. Strangely, I don't think we've even seen S4 yet on TV - not that I am complaining or anything!

There's a good interview (*SPOILERS* in the link) with Primeval's Connor here - sounds like he's really enjoying his time on the series.

This time it's an (*SPOILERS* in the link) interview with Ruth Kearney, another of the new cast members. Sounds like the cast is being expanded with some interesting characters.

There's an interesting interview with Ciaran McMenamin, from Primeval S4, at (*SPOILERS* in the link) Total Sci-Fi Online. Looks like S4 is keeping up the action quota for the series!

There's an interesting interview with Adrian Hodges at (*SPOILERS* in the link) Total Sci-Fi Online in which he talks about all the features in the new series.

There's a interesting-looking promotional video for Primeval S4 at Blastr

According to CraveOnline, the season will start in both the US and the UK on 1 January 2011. Next question is when (or indeed, if) it will get here. Let's hope the series has kept its quality over the break and after all the cast and crew changes.

Our new TV Channel looks like its got some good programmes to launch - Warehouse 13, Caprica and Primeval, just to mention a few. The description of its intended demographic concerns me - "It is the first broadcast television channel to cater for men 16-49" - it's going to be all T&A and monster trucks and fart jokes within a year, the launch programmes not withstanding!

According to this Total SCI-FI interview with Adrian Hodges, filming for both seasons has started in Dublin this week. Sounds like there are lots of new cast members - I really must get around to watching S3 foe explanations!

Good interview at CraveOnline - most interestingly, it sounds like he's pretty sure of getting S3 for Survivors! It sounds like all the deals done for Primeval S4 were hard work but ultimately successful, apart from the fact that they were so late that some casting changes were forced on them because contracts got cancelled.

*SPOILERS* in the link Brief SCI FI Wire interview with Adrian Hodges talking about some of the events of the coming season.

ITV has confirmed that two more seasons will be made, S4 with 7 episodes and S5 with 6.

WOOHOO!

In fact, that news deserves a second, louder one:
WOOHOO!

DAMN IT!

Primeval will definitely be a movie according to Empire Online, having been picked up by Warner Brothers.

Yes (in the US at least), according to Digital Spy. I wonder if it will be a US remake a la The Office or if it will fit in with the main continuity, maybe with a US team being set up in parallel with the current ARC team?

Whew!

Primeval is not cancelled, according to this Total Sci Fi interview with Adrian Hodges. Not that I had heard rumours to the contrary but apparently there were - so there we go!

On Total SCIFI, there's a (***SPOILERS*** in the link) great interview with Adrian Hodges. I haven't seen any of S3 yet but, from the sounds of that interview, S3 is as action-packed and as inventive as ever! And TEN episodes this season not the usual miserly six? WOOHOO!
catalyst2: (Default)
From this review at Total Sci FI (*SPOILERS* in the link), not only did S3 start today in the UK, but it also sounds like it got off to a ripping start!

This is one of the series I have really missed during its break. I'm really glad that it's back.

WOOHOO!
