Very Bad Koalas #1
Sep. 29th, 2010 09:33 pmI will suspend judgement of this one until I've seen more, I think.
Blood and Chrome
Jul. 28th, 2010 11:04 pmA BSG prequel - I'm in! The format sounds interesting - 10 9-minute webisodes.
Oh and that title just rocks!

Romantically Apocalyptic
Mar. 28th, 2010 05:58 pmThis web comic looks sufficiently bizarre to be amusing.
Haven't read this for ages .....
Feb. 19th, 2010 11:35 pm..... but I have now! Just finished the first volume of Runners and got to the second volume The Big Snow Job. Still very Firefly-like but a very good story, all the same.
Good grief
Feb. 9th, 2010 10:34 pmGWTB got updated - and it is as hilarious as ever. "... What?" doesn't sound funny out of context but it is hilarious in the strip.
Dexter: Early Cuts
Oct. 28th, 2009 10:26 pmAn animated prequel webseries to the show here. Not bad so far.
The Guild is back!
Sep. 2nd, 2009 10:11 pmS3 of The Guild just started and episode 1 is here. Just as much fun as ever!
Dexter webisodes
Jul. 30th, 2009 09:14 pmFrom the sounds of (*MAJOR S4 SPOILERS IN LINK*) this interview, the webisodes are going to be quite interesting. If the subject of that one in the article (being spoiler free here) is consistent with what we know about Dexter already, it should be quite interesting.
A new webcomic - for me, at least
Jul. 1st, 2009 07:58 pmI just discovered Runners, which is (to quote the site) about:
"Intergalactic smuggling isn't easy when you're hounded by pirates, bounty hunters, police, and the occasional conscience ...
RUNNERS, the critically-acclaimed sci-fi adventure series by writer/artist Sean Wang, chronicles the misadventures of reluctant smuggler Roka Nostaco and his ragtag alien crew as they struggle to complete hazardous runs through outlaw space and against all odds."
As Revolution Science Fiction says, it has a very Firefly feel about it. Damn good read though, at least as far as I have read.

Dollhouse webisodes?
Jul. 23rd, 2008 07:38 pmAccording to The Live Feed, Joss will also make webisodes, one for each TV epiosde made. I have but one comment - WOOHOO!
I wasn't expecting that!
Jun. 22nd, 2008 07:31 pmGWTB update, WOOHOO! I thought this wasn't updating until 2009 but there's a shiny new strip. I say again, WOOHOO!
Two more .....
Jun. 16th, 2008 07:32 pm..... but I will confess that I am struggling to get into either of these. Both have an interesting premise but still .....
White noise
Dead Winter
White noise
Dead Winter
The Zombie Hunters
Jun. 15th, 2008 08:38 pmJust discovered this comic. I've only read the first 30 pages or so but it seems quite good. Somehow, it seems very appropriate after the events of June 13th!
The future of TV?
Mar. 29th, 2007 11:22 pmI have discovered Sanctuary.
"What is Sanctuary?", I hear you ask. To quote the FAQ:
"Sanctuary is a web-based science fiction series starring Amanda Tapping, Robin Dunne, Emilie Ullerup & Chris Heyerdahl. Fusing stunning visual effects, video game technology and cutting edge web design, Sanctuary takes the viewer into a thrilling world where science meets the supernatural. This fictional online universe fills the void left by traditional network television by providing multiple High Definition resolutions, immersive interaction, and direct communication between the viewer and the Sanctuary creative team.
I like what I have seen so far and the concept seems to be backed up with the technology and the production experience, enough for it to be a viable option, at least on paper. First 4 episodes are free and pay as you go after that. That's certainly enough of an opportunity to get a feel for the series. It will be interesting to see what happens after that!
Judge for yourself - the trailer's available
