Profound, profane or pedestrian

Just read two quotes, not sure where but here they are:

"I really hate it when people compare Angus Young to God. Seriously, I mean he's great and all, but he's no Angus Young"

and

"God said "Let there be rock!" and Angus Young said "Say please!""

Dropped my son off at the airport early this morning. The plane was going to be 2 hours late, then 2 hours 55 minutes so I decided to wait in case the delay got even longer. The woman at the counter said that the issue was with the plane in Brisbane so I thought that might mean a really long delay.

After a while, we decide to buy some breakfast - not 1 minute after our food arrived, they announced that the plane would be boarding immediately! Talk about confusing. In the end the plane only took off about 25 minutes late - not the 2 hours 55, that was threatened.

Every time I read about the machinations behind the scenes at The Walking Dead, I get more worried for the future of this series. This article doesn't raise my hopes at all!

Game of Thrones won Outstanding New Program at the Television Critics Association's 27th annual TCA Awards. Let's hope this is the first of a whole swag of awards that it wins.

Despite yesterday's vow not to play again until my back could settle, somehow I ended up playing TWO games again as The Ringer today so I am really sore now!
