...... and I can't FRAKKING WATCH THEM! Hah - "Thank you for your interest in MySpace.com TV. This service is currently unavailable to viewers living outside the United States"

Grrr argh, indeed! If you are in the US (and some parts of the UK apparently), they are here.

What I do have though are the scripts for the last two episodes from Tim Minear's site.

Serious SPOILERS behind the cut. )

..... Tim Minear and Craig Silverstein had a lot of really great plans for many of the characters, as this interview shows.

Most exciting line of all (from Tim):
"Craig and I are working on something together, and developing other ideas as well". But Tim, for your next project, FOR GOD'S SAKE, GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM FOX! Please?

Seeing all those wonderful plans just makes me all the more frustrated that Drive got cut short so fast.

Repeat after me "FOX = ASSHATS"

Sadly, we barely knew you in the brief time you were with us but the little we did get to know of you was good.

RIP Drive!

Only those asshats called FOX could manage to cancel a series twice in the space of six episodes. ASSHATS! Once more, with feeling - ASSHATS!

It is ironic writing this now that Drive is cancelled because my thoughts after this episode were "Now this is going to be a great series because it's really hit its pace now." Sadly we'll never see that now, I guess but here's the review any way

According to Variety, FOX has canned Drive due to low ratings. Can't say I'm surprised - they were clearly nervous right from the get-go when they did the split order of only 6 eps, with 7 *later*.

Frak, frak, frak, frak, frakkity, frak!

FRAK!!!!!!!!!

I am starting to warm up to this series now that we are starting to get down to the essence of the characters

but you'll have to read behind this cut to find out just what happened. )

..... that Charles Martin Smith who plays Mr. Bright in Drive directed BtVS S1e1 "Welcome to the Hellmouth"?

I enjoyed this second episode because I felt that it got closer to what I think is the meat of this series

but you'll have to look behind the cut for the details. )

Just watched Drive S1e1 "The Starting Line" and I have to say that I am interested. Not "seat of my pants, can't breath" excited but there are enough questions still to ask that I will watch more episodes. As for the episode itself, I thought the effects were seamless, the script was good - a lot of exposition for a large ensemble cast was very deftly handled - and the acting was generally OK. Nathan Fillion was, of course, great as were several others of the cast but some were a little ordinary too. I certainly hope this gets at least a 13 episode run - that is The Tim Reaper's maximum allotted run from the PTB's isn't it?
