Torchwood: Miracle Day
Jul. 12th, 2011 08:56 pmFrom this review at Revolution SF, it sounds like the series has got off to a good start. It also sounds like it has managed to keep the Torchwoody quirkiness of the first three series. Let's hope this continues. I know it won't be on here for a while but I'll just have to wait.
Sentimental
Jul. 10th, 2011 08:07 pmJust watching HIMYM S4 - the brass band at the airport brings a tear to my eye every time!
Went out for lunch today - went back to the wonderful Spices on Ocean. The food was delicious as usual - I had a chicken Jal Frezi for main with some tandoori roti as an accompaniment. The highlight, however, was the entree - Hara kebab. When it arrived I was surprised - these bright green (and I mean BRIGHT) pieces of chicken glowed malevolently on the plate. With some trepidation, I tried the first piece - oh the joy, the thrill. Best dish I've had for a long time - even if it did look like sliced green monkey testicles!

GoT Casting rumours
Jul. 4th, 2011 10:21 pmSeveral interesting ones here - I can definitely see Ecleston Baratheon as Stannis or as Roose Bolton. Both are intense, focused characters and Ecclestion can certainly do that! I don't see him as Balon Greyjoy however - not quite sure why exactly but it just doesn't match.
