My home town after the earthquake

catalyst2Even though I haven't lived in Christchurch for 17 years, it is the place which I will forever identify as home.
It got hit with a 7.1 (Richter scale) earthquake early today and the damage is significant. We haven't been able to get hold of many friends yet but the mobile network is not working well so it doesn't surprise me.
