Better by the day - he took interest in a straw today (he's usually obsessed with them) and batted it around the floor rather half-heartedly. He lost interest when he couldn't pick it up off the floor in his mouth because of the cone. At that point, he gave me the evils again and then stomped off in high dudgeon.
