Awwwwwwww, poor little arancinis
Nov. 9th, 2007 08:32 amWent out to dinner last to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. We went to the Brighton Hotel.
For entree, I had Arancini balls - sparking all kinds of very lame "I didn't know arancinis had balls" jokes) -which were perfect, being crisp on the outside, just soft on the inside and fairly bland but when served with a very tart tomato chutney, exquisite.
For main, I had Chilli Prawn Pasta with cherry tomatoes - a rich dish slathered with prawns (which were a bit messy to eat, given that they left the tails on) and cherry tomatoes and some perfectly cooked fettucine.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
ETA: interestingly, our menu last night looked absolutely nothing like the menu in that link above!
