NaNoWriMo Day twenty-one

Only 1017 words today - and that only because of a 4 am start this morning! Total is now 35544. Still about 500 words ahead of target so I'm happy. It would have been nice to have a slightly bigger buffer at this late stage of the writing but the story's still flowing so I'm happy.

WOOHOO!

Frak me good, frak me quick!

I have BSG S3 on DVD! WOOHOO!

It has absolutely no extras (except for 1 crappy "Playback UK Trailer" on disc one) and four episodes on each of the five discs. Each disc has a purple/black lightning kind of thing happening - but no cast pictures or anything. The box set is pretty (see here) but I bought it from Big W so didn't get the free cuff-links - but since I have no cuffs to link, I figure that that's not too great a loss.

And yes, I did think about the WGA strike and considered that
1. I am 99% certain that whatever deal is struck is not retrospective so the writers are going to get 4 cents per disc any way and
2. in the event that that 1% becomes reality - that is, that the deal is retrospective - writers will get nothing per DVD.

Any way, I bought it.
