Cherry Ripe is now a 240g block!

Why was I not informed? Where was the memo? The dancing on the streets in celebration?

This dire situation was immediately rectified this afternoon - TWICE in fact!

Someone's got to do the hard yards!

..... exactly what he is told to.

It was savage out there - I killed, I ravaged, I made thousands homeless. Acres (well, maybe square metres) were laid waste, indeed even devastated. The struggle was hard but I came out on top through a skillful combination of wisdom, ruthless efficiency (maybe fear and surprise - no, no stop that!), diligent application of lethal chemicals and use of the overwhelming power of technology.

Yes, I was gardening today.

The second most useless activity known to Man, second only to blogging about gardening!

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

That's not me at all - really! Although I have to say that:
"As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. (emphasis added)

has a nice ring to it. Powerful? Check (in my own mind, anyway) Man? So it is alleged although that is sometimes in dispute, particularly at work where the phrase "You INSERT EXPLETIVE HERE bastard" is a far more common description. Hard to resist? Check (although just who would find me hard to resist is even harder to imagine!!!)
