Mmmmm ..... goat

Finallly got to have lunch at the recently opened Yogi Contemporary Indian Restaurant - had the goat curry and it was perfection on every count. Beautiful atmosphere and attentive service made it a memorable meal. I'll definitely be going back again.

I have had goat at an Indian buffet in my town but I haven't developed a taste for it yet. I have trouble with meat I'm unused to. I need to keep trying.

I first ate goat in the Philippines about 40 years ago (good grief, I feel old now) and loved it - but I was lucky to get some beautifully tender moist goat rather than the dried-up frizzled “goat scratchings” I see in some places. Very lean meat too so that’s a bonus.
