According to TV Shows On DVD this will be released on 8th June

and the box art looks good too. )

No news on a possible R4 release date from any of the usual sites, though.

According to TVShowsOnDVD, this will be released on 6th October. Searching around, I couldn't find any mention of the R4 release date but it's typically been fairly close - 4-6 weeks later usually - so I'd guess at sometime in late November. Mind you, they have given up showing Nip/Tuck here so that may be a bad sign.

R1 DVD release is on December 30th according to TV Shows on DVD. There appears to be no listed date for R4 yet so I'd guess early next year for us.

WOOHOO!

We get the third season of Nip-Tuck - it's out on May 2 according to Ezy DVD, any way. Having just put S2 on lay-by today - a steal at AUS$31.92 (US$25.40) - I'm just glad to see I won't have to wait too long to continue the story.

I weakened and bought the S1 slimline set this afternoon. Mind you, I got mine for just AUS$23.95 (about US$18.70!)

I have just finished watching the pilot and this beast is exquisite! This has everything I like in a series - complex, intertwining story lines, flawed heroes, angst and pain and lots of set-up for future story lines. I'm really excited about this now - just hoping they can maintain this quality for a good proportion of the time. I love it when I discover a new series to watch, especially one that's already got a few eps under its belt so I've got a bit to catch up on.

Just watched my first two episodes of Nip/Tuck, S301 Momma Boone and S302 Kiki. I have to say I am impressed but not quite hooked yet. There's enough in there that I am going to keep watching, though. Because I have no idea of backstory, there are things I miss but it is well enough written for me to work out fairly quickly who is who.

I have to say that Matt looks disturbingly like Michael Jackson in S302. Great mother/daughter interaction between Julia and Erica, too. Famke Janssen was on too!

Definitely will continue to watch - and I saw the S1 slimline boxset on Saturday for AUS$32 (that's US$25 approximately) so I may buy that soon if it continues to interest me. At least I could catch up on who the hell The Carver is!
