Day of the Triffids version #34456

It looks like there will be another remake of Day of the Triffids, this one with Sam Raimi at the helm, according to Total Sci-Fi. After last year's mediocre effort at a remake, I hope this one gets it - at least with Raimi, there's a fair chance it will.
