Movie review: 3-D Toy Story 3

catalyst2This was a great movie - knowing of its own history but not over-using, a story of some complexity but strong emotional resonance and, above all, a sense of fun. Buzz's "flamenco" mode has to be seen to be believed!There were funny moments, "knowing" moments and poignant moments, all used skillfully in a balanced way.
This was my first 3-D movie - and, although the 3-D effect was impressive and really did leap out at me, I'm not convinced that added one wit to my overall viewing experience this time. I will concede though that there are movies where it may have a great impact.
