Never found it!
Apr. 10th, 2010 11:35 pmJust finished watching the last 9 episodes of S3 Heroes today - and I still haven't found what it was that made me feel that S3 was such crap that first time through.
One clue I think is that the number of times that both Sylar and Nathan flipped between sides of the equation - miss one episode and nothing would make much sense from that point on. Given how the season ended, it's also no wonder that I couldn't make any sense of the few episodes of S4 that I tried to watch!
A few brief points I want to make:
1) it was so cool to load up disc six and get five episodes and not just two as I was expecting. YAY for extra episodes!
2) poor Alice :-(
3) the reveal of the "President's" true identity in the limo in S3e25 The Invisible Thread is just magic - took my breath away
4) the final ten seconds of S3 are wonderful tension ratchets for S4.
I enjoyed this season from end to end - again, not arguing that they are the pinnacle of TV series in the 21st century - but cared about the characters and was curious to see where the plot would go to in each episode. I am glad that I got to watch it on DVD though - there were several times where I had to rewind a scene or two to spot what really happened.
