My next target

After all the fun of the Genghis Con, I want to go to SwanCon 32, I have decided. It costs more ($110) but runs longer (5th to 9th April) so could still be good value. It is over Easter so I will be off work (again!) They have got some good guests - Elizabeth Moon and David Gerrold - so that should be cool.

Hmmmmmmmm, what to do, what to do?

Swancon is an interesting contrast to Genghiscon. Because it's held in a hotel, it's not as intesively physical. There can be a *lot* of people there.
It's not as gaming oriented either.

But we've been going to it for nigh on 20 years now and while it has changed, we've always enjoyed it, and still do.

And Elizabeth Moon and David Gerrold are cool!

Good to get a personal recommendation - things can look good on paper but the best test is always from people who go. I'm glad the physical intensity is less - I think I did almost my year's entire allotment of physical exercise on the weekend!
