Torchwood: Children of Earth

Just finished watching the Day Five and it didn't really work for me.
When I said Day Five didn't work for me, I meant just that because Days 1-4 were all great - sharp drama, great revelations, cool escapes (Jack-in-a-box!) and great character moments (Ianto and his sister). Not to mention Ianto's death too.
And then Day Five - it just seemed like a damp squib. The 456 needs kids to get high? Serious? That was the great reveal? Don't get me wrong, there were powerful moments - Jack focusing the signal through his grandson, for example - but this just wrapped up to easily.
Disappointing end to a great build-up.
