Impressive use of space

The combined staircase/bookcase - I need one of these! Of course the fact that I live in a single-storey house may defeat the purpose of the improved storage but I still want one!

There's definitely a touch of genius in that design.

Now that I think about it, I wonder how you could grab books on the ends of the shelves without losing your balance. And it would be easy to trip over the file-folder-tab style stairs. I think the design would need to be modified a bit.

I think the books at the far end of the lower steps would be OK but the ones at the very ends of the top few might be quite difficult to get to.
