Not sure what this is going to be like - but the trailer looks OK. Can't say I have heard anything about this but at least Thomas Harris is closely involved with the movie so it should follow his story line. Worth watching for any news on it.

How spooky you should write this post when I just this second finished reading about Hannibal's childhood in Wikipedia. I also read about the differences between the books and the movies, since I never read the books, nor do I plan to.

I may see this movie, but I'm not sure. I was turned off by the series after watching the dinner scene in Hannibal, which I can't think about or even see SNL skits about without feeling like 10,000 bugs are crawling all over my body. It probably didn't help that I was eating lunch when that scene started and had to stop the tape so I could finish it. Ughhhhhhhh. *shivers uncrontrollably*

Yeah, I especially love that "clicking-into-place" feeling when it is well done. Few movies do it well though but this looks like it has the chance of doing it well. At least the creator has kept well involved - now we just have to see if Harris can pull it off!
