AtS: Blood and Trenches #2
Mar. 26th, 2009 09:39 pmThere is a five page review (plus blurb and cover) over at Comics Continuum
Blurb:
"Under attack from an unknown enemy, the crew of the scoutship Fortune face death, hard choices, and the worst fears of fragile humans far from home in the unforgiving vastness of space."
Wait, what? Crossed with Star Trek again? This is becoming some kind of running joke, I think.
Real Blurb:
"Alone behind enemy lines, hunted by both sides, Angel discovers his worst suspicions are true when he learns of the dark forces massing in the Kaiser's troops forces with an agenda all their own."
Now that makes much more sense!
Cover:

Page 1: The more I see of this, the more I like it. When I saw some of the early sample pages, I wasn't convinced but the final product is sharp, with good dialogue and good story-telling.

Page 4:

Page 5: I suspect that the Colonel might just be from the Watchers' Council.
