Overheard in the queue today

All of this was done very loudly:

Woman: Hey John (name changed to protect the terminally crass), you're invited to my party this Saturday!

Man: What's the party for?

Woman: My 30th, dumb ass! ..... Oh, and that fucking whining bitch you're married to is NOT invited!

(pause)

Man: (cheerfully) OK, then, see you Saturday!

I don't think it's entirely accidental - I like watching how people interact. Where other people might bring a book along for a boring wait, I watch other people.
