They're back!

catalyst2I indulged in my annual battle with the paper wasps in the shed today. I did far better than last year when I got two very painful stings on the side of my neck that resulted in me developing a thunderous headache for about three days!
This time it was a clean sweep - I think that the fact that their nest was about twice the diameter of last year's played in my favour - even though there were a hell of a lot more wasps, at least I saw the nest this time rather than almost walk into it like I did last year.
This year's score: Me 1 Wasps 0
Aggregate score over the last two years: Me 1 Wasps 2
We'll have to call it best of three, I feel.
