Survivors gets a second season

catalyst2Total SCI FI has confirmed that the BBC has renewed Survivors for a second 6-episode season next year. I only wish the seasons were a little longer!
Adrian Hodges' (executive Producer) comment is very succinct:
"As much as anything I think the recommission is a tribute to the strength of Terry Nation's original ideas and story, which remain as relevant and vital now as they were in 1974."
