catalyst2Another 1000pt vs Ork annihilation. Highlight - me making just about every saving roll every turn!
The attack bike finally did what it was supposed to or, rather, I used it the way it was supposed to be. It swung wide and fast and completely distracted one of his Boyz squads and his Wartrakk. The bike got caught once in close combat, made every save (see above!) and then I learned how to use Hit And Run properly.
In the meantime, the terminators ate up everything he threw at me and more. By the time he realised what he was doing, it was all over bar the shouting. Result: Victory, 3 kill points to 0.
I am particulary satisfied, not by the result, nice as it was, but by the fact that I got the tactics right for the first time.
