Several months ago, one of the training chefs where I work asked me if I wanted to do some taste-testing of desserts made by his students. What else can you answer that with but yes? This is why, by 11am this morning, I had had a sticky date pudding, an apple fritter, a slice of French vanilla cheesecake and a serving of frozen vanilla parfait ice-cream. Lunch, needless to say, was very light and I haven't had any dinner at all. All four desserts were exquisite - cheers Lee! If you need another volunteer, you know where my desk is!
