Sugarshock! TPB

Over at Dark Horse, they have released the MySpace Dark Horse Presents Vol. 1 TPB which has all 3 parts of Sugarshock!. The cover even features the band in action


Even though I have mixed feelings about this series, the completist in me demands that this should be bought. I guess I'll cave in and get it then.

I think there will be more "MySpace Dark Horse Presents" but I think this is the only Sugarshock!.

I guess that makes sense. I'm going to my Comic Shop today, so I'll have to put that on my list.

That's okay. I'll put it on my list at the store and then they just put it in my 'box'. I'll probably stop buying AXM and Runaways once Joss isn't writing them. I will have several comics in my box today, though, as I haven't picked up for about three weeks.

I'm definitely stopping both AXM and Runaways - the art on both of them, but especially for the latter, is really not to my taste at all.

Mind you, between BtVS S8, Angel: After The Fall, Spike: After The Fall and Serenity: Better Days, I've got quite enough to pick up!

That's what I figure, too. I ended up getting both covers for the last Buffy because I couldn't figure out which one I wanted!!

I've taken the Chen cover for every issue except #3 (the jigsaw one which I thought was very appropriate to the comic) and #11 (the Robyn Balzer (sp?) issue). Generally though I just take the first cover I can get because often there is only the one type left when I get to the shop.

Since I have my own box at the Comic Shop, I can request the cover I get as well. I went in with a list last month for the next few issues of both Buffy and Angel. I did request Jo Chen covers for all the Buffy ones. Strangely, I've gone back and forth between Urru and the other cover for the first few issues of Angel. Thanks for posting the covers on you LJ, by the way, because if I miss them on Whedonesque, I usually catch them from you. ;)
