The day from hell

I've tried to avoid it for a long time but sometimes the pressure of events just builds up and it happens. I though I was in trouble today when I woke up at about seven and realised it was going to get to about 26C, with light wind and some fairly heavy cloud cover.
Bracing myself for the inevitable horror, I dressed reluctantly but certain in the knowledge that I would be ...... I can barely bringing myself to say it without a wave of nausea overwhelming me ..... I would be ..... GARDENING today. Yes, FRICKING FRAKKING GARDENING!
And sadly, I was right. There followed nine hours of that crap - and not the *fun* crap either - this was mulching, weeding, edging, pruning - the list is just endless.
Oh the humanity, the humanity ......
