From bad to worse

When I got back today, I looked out the window and there was Seasalt, laying very, very still on the paving under the pergola.

Yes, our furry little white psychopath beloved white bunny is no more.

I think I was more upset than the children! Seasalt is now buried at the bottom of the garden with her own headstone:
SEASALT RESTS HERE
SADLY MISSED
2004 - 2008

She got the run of the garden, the pick of the best vegetables and generally a pretty laid back life style. Much loved by all three children too.

I am so sorry for your loss. How heartbreaking to find her that way. Pets become such an important part of our families. Its great that she will live on in your garden. Sorry for the string of calamities...when it rains, it pours, no?

She had access to all the good things in (a rabbity) life and was a much loved pet so she certainly had a good life while she was here.
