AtS: After The Fall #1, 6 & 7
Feb. 24th, 2008 08:46 pmThe Slay Alive fan-designed covers for #6 and 7 are available as is news of a "Director's cut" for #1 at Comics Continuum
The blurb for the issue #1 Director's cut:
"ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL #1 -- THE DIRECTOR'S CUT
Written by Brian Lynch, art by Franco Urro, cover by Alex Garner.
Angel: After the Fall, picking up where Angel: Season Five ended, hit the ground running and has been a hit ever since Joss Whedon's characters first stepped into a Los Angeles cast into Hell. Now, experience again the beginning of the story in this special edition that also includes writer Brian Lynch's complete script and his writer's annotations, too. Alex Garner provides an all-new painted cover for this special issue.
48 pages, $5.99."
Now I want that - it sounds really interesting - Lynch's annotations for his Spike TPB's have been very funny. And another new cover? WOOHOO!
Here's the covers:
Issue 6: I love the idea but what the hell is that on their faces? Did their mascara run? Is it warpaint?

Issue 7: Just exquisite, both in concept and execution.
