I was fairly hesitant about it - if the news was real news, I suspect that it would be trumpeted from the rooftops, not this half-arsed trickle. Let's hope something does get worked out soon though - quite aside from anything else, no strike means Dollhouse all the sooner!
Oh, and this takes the cake: "Both sides have agreed to not talk to the media at all while these very specific parts of the negotiations are worked out." Then where is the media getting this "accurate" information???
There are a couple of stories about, one by an 'anonymous source' who doesn't want to be identified because he's not authorised to comment!! So then why is he?? I'm wondering if the AMPTP is leaking something, hoping that the pickets will come down. Are they stupid?? Nobody who has been out there picketing for three months is going to drop their picket signs because there is a 'possibility' of a tentative agreement, maybe.
I hope it's true, but I'm not holding my breath and I follow Joss: when we hear from the WGA that they have voted for the contract, then I will believe.
