It arrived!

My copy of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Sketch Book #1 arrived in the post today. It is one beautiful piece of work and is packed full of sketches and drawings from the first 4 issues of BtVS S8. Because I am such an utterly un-artistic person, I guess I never really thought much about how the pictures must evolve from the original conception to the final version, but there are many examples of that in here.

A piece of trivia from the book: Jeanty's "puzzle" variant cover was originally proposed for #2 but Scott Allie and Joss though it was better for #3 - and I think they were right.

Now I just wonder if that second sketch book I ordered has arrived at its destination yet ......
