So pretty! Ours looked a lot like that this year, the past few years we've gone with very formal, matched color schemes like they do in shop windows, but this year we went all out and just used everything we had. I like them much better that way, they seem more...inviting. Homey.
Yes, I always go with the "whatever comes out next, goes on next" philosophy. It came out alright this year. Of course, I also dress that way and it works? Not so much, to be honest!
