28 Days of Lunch: Day Three (11th October)

catalyst2I was still at the conference today but the conference had moved location to The Tradewinds Hotel in Fremantle.
Buffet lunch to day so I got to pick: at the bottom of the plate, there is a vol-au-vent, unusual (for me, any way) in that the case was hot but the filling (a bruschetta-like mix) was cold - a very nice contrast in flavours and temperature. I also picked tangy barbecued chicken drumsticks and half potato skins covered covered in a spicy tomato mayonnaise with a very plain green salad - (just as I like it) with shredded carrot, cucumber slices and salad greens. Very, very nice filling lunch
The place setting for lunch, complete with linen napkins and tablecloth and CUTLERY! See, I can be civilised on occasion!
