Robinson cover: I think I like this one more of the two - even though I don't see Illyria getting so angry as this, or at least not looking quite so angry.
Actually, I don't really like either of them, but I think I'm leaning a bit more to the Urru one in spite of the fact that neither of them really look like their characters and he's drawn Illyria with cartoon-y (not just comic-y) breasts, in spite of what Brian Lynch says!! On the other hand, the Robinson one does have the dragon reflected in her axe blade.
I picked up the latest 'episode' of Buffy on Wednesday, along with the last issue of Spike: Shadow Puppets. The latter was very funny with all kinds of shout-outs to BtVS, AtS and even other shows!
If I could take the facial expression from Urru's and graft it onto Robinson's torso, I think I'd be a bit happier. Also, I think I have got spoilt with Chen's exquisite covers from BtVs S8!
Another note about Urru on the Spike: Asylum and Shadow Puppets stories - his covers are ordinary but he can draw action and interaction very well so I'm happy to have him for interiors.
