I want to like this show, I really do, but it's still ordinary for me. This episode did seem to loosen up a bit - Jason O'Mara cracked at least two facial expressions (but sadly Stephen Lang only managed his usual single quizzical/sneer thing). At least there was an explanation as to why the camp was attacked by the DotW (Dinosaur of the Week) as opposed to insane ravening blood lust that every other dinosaur seem to show.

Better? Yes.
Good? No.

I will give it two more episodes.

Just finished watching the pilot episode - now my opinion will not be exactly objective because I am a fan of SMG's but I liked this on the whole. SMG did great job of making two identical twins into two different characters and handled a complex part well. The twin interaction scenes were generally well done except for the mirror scene (you know the one I mean) and all the scenes on the boat - some of the worst green screen work I have seen in a long time!

I like that there are about ten different threads to follow and that nothing quite seems to be what it seems - and yet I get the impression that Siobhan was juggling quite a complex life before she "died". "Died" because I'm not convinced that she is, at all - in the same way that Bridget realised that she was the only one who knew that Siobhan was dead, I wondered if Siobhan set the entire boat thing up and left Bridget to be the sole witness (and possibly frame her at the same time?). Siobhan is probably really pissed right now that Siobhan isn't dead!

I'm definitely interested in watching next week but some questions must start to get answered - if this is just question after question after question, I'll get bored!
