Just got back

Another long day - but I did have a really nice night's sleep at the motel. Took us just as long to get back from Merredin. It was a cold day too - the weather report for Merredin might say 26C but with wind chill, I reckon it was under 20C!

Overall, though it was a very pleasant weekend, lots of fun and I got to see a bit of the county that I've never seen before - flat, yellow and dry are three adjectives that spring to mind.

My new discovery

Whilst riding on the bus over the weekend, we had some DVD's to watch. One of the kids put on Man vs. Wild - holy crap, I can't decide whether Bear Grylls is crazy, a fake or lacks any sense of fear. Whichever it is, some of the stuff that he eats really doesn't bear (sorry, no pun intended) thinking about!

Either way, I am going to look around to see if I can find any of his DVD's to watch some more.
