Some things are just *wrong*

Walking around the supermarket, I noticed two new products on the shelves:

chocolate-flavoured balsamic vinegar

peppermint-flavoured wheat flake breakfast cereal (and just before you ask, yes, the box front did imply that the afore-mentioned wheat flakes were also green!)

Just watched S2e4 Back to the Garden (since Channel 9 are now playing it at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon).

I had forgotten just how good this programme was! Another cancelled-before-its-time!

On reflection, it wasn't such a good idea .....

..... to go for a bike ride in the torrential rain this afternoon. I thought we'd ride down to the servo to at least pump the bike tires. I mean, just how wet could we get in ten minutes? Apparently quite wet,as we discovered in those ten minutes.

Once we'd pumped up the tires, I thought we were wet enough already so why not go for the ride any way. I mean, just how much wetter could we get in the next half hour? Apparently quite a bit wetter - at one point, the water was running back out of my shoes because they had filled up. My waterproof jacket wasn't!

Still, a hot shower, change of clothes and a chicken & cheese toasted sandwich got me going again.
