catalyst2..... to go for a bike ride in the torrential rain this afternoon. I thought we'd ride down to the servo to at least pump the bike tires. I mean, just how wet could we get in ten minutes? Apparently quite wet,as we discovered in those ten minutes.
Once we'd pumped up the tires, I thought we were wet enough already so why not go for the ride any way. I mean, just how much wetter could we get in the next half hour? Apparently quite a bit wetter - at one point, the water was running back out of my shoes because they had filled up. My waterproof jacket wasn't!
Still, a hot shower, change of clothes and a chicken & cheese toasted sandwich got me going again.
