Joss isn't writing Wonder Woman any more
Feb. 3rd, 2007 02:04 pmJoss himself said so here at Whedonesque. He's gracious and professional about it as always. I'm a little sad because he seemed to be so keen about this movie and always seemed to be talking in interviews about all the great ideas he had for it. On the other hand, this does free him up for other things - even he mentions that Goners may be his next thing to focus on. And even he got sick of all the casting speculation for Wonder Woman too, I think!
Mixed feelings for me, I guess - he's just got removed from a high profile movie and is moving to nothing definite (that's the bad) but he can go to all those creative ideas he's got stored up (that's the good). Certainly is a change in status for him from riding high during the halcyon days of BtVS, AtS and Firefly to have no movie or TV project to work on. There's still the comics but that's just not the same.
I WANT MY JOSS TV! I WANT MY JOSS TV! I WANT MY JOSS TV!
