Joss isn't writing Wonder Woman any more

Joss himself said so here at Whedonesque. He's gracious and professional about it as always. I'm a little sad because he seemed to be so keen about this movie and always seemed to be talking in interviews about all the great ideas he had for it. On the other hand, this does free him up for other things - even he mentions that Goners may be his next thing to focus on. And even he got sick of all the casting speculation for Wonder Woman too, I think!

Mixed feelings for me, I guess - he's just got removed from a high profile movie and is moving to nothing definite (that's the bad) but he can go to all those creative ideas he's got stored up (that's the good). Certainly is a change in status for him from riding high during the halcyon days of BtVS, AtS and Firefly to have no movie or TV project to work on. There's still the comics but that's just not the same.

I WANT MY JOSS TV! I WANT MY JOSS TV! I WANT MY JOSS TV!

WOOHOO! Just been to the dentist - no wait, BAAAAAAAAAD

Just come back from the dentist - the news is both good and bad. Good news is the pain at top left rear is fixed - two fillings replaced - and the bottom front tooth is not broken, just "extreme calcification" (I think he called it that) breaking off from the back of the tooth. Bad news is that I have to go back in a month's time for de-sensitization (I don't like the sound of that at all) and cleaning. Going to cost upwards of AUS$600 for all the work but, considering that this is the first time I have been to the dentist in 26 years, that works out to just $19.23 per year!

Of course, I have been walking around with a mouth more twisted than John Carey Merrick's and speaking like Igor ("Yef, mafter, bif if a vewy foft piwwow") but it is starting to wear off now. Here comes the pain! Mmmmm .....pain!
