Now it is not just Adam Baldwin but also Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Mark Sheppard, Jonathan Woodward and Christina Hendricks at the backup bash. Photos, courtesy of The One True b!X, are here.

There are no words - these guys simply rock!

Went shopping to day.

Not only did Blackout finally turn up in the shops (so what's wrong with yelling "YAY!" in the middle of the store, Mr. Security Guard?) but I got Arrested Development S3 for AUS$23.95 (that's US$18.83) and Reservoir Dogs Collector's Edition for AUS$5.92 (yes, just US$4.65). I haven't seen that edition of Reservoir Dogs before - the second disc has all kinds of extras:

- Deleted scenes
- Alternative angles
- Cast & crew interviews
- Tribute to Lawrence Tierney
- Director's tribute
- Class of '92 feature
- Small Dogs documentary
- Film noir web
- Select scene commentary
- K-Billy interactive radio
- Style guide
- Securing the shot documentary
- Trailer
- Poster gallery.

I'm not sure which one to start on first!

Just read this interview with Jeff Lindsay (*Spoilers* aplenty in the interview) and he confirms that not only is "Dexter in the Dark" on the way (which I already knew) but that (he) "has already started taking notes for a fourth Dexter book. Lindsay said, "If people like what you're doing, it's kind of your job and your duty to keep in it as long as someone wants to see it. I'll keep writing Dexter as long as people want to read it."".

I'm also glad to see that he's very happy with the TV version of his books - in fact, he sounds more than just happy, it sounds like he's enjoying the twists and turns of the series just as much as the rest of us are!

Thanks for [livejournal.com profile] lafemmedarla for the interview link from her list Dexter_news: Edition 3.

More Serenity comics are coming next year (about fourth item down). I think I already knew this but just in case I didn't? WOOHOO!

To quote:

SERENITY RETURNS TO DARK HORSE
Buffy the Vampire Slayer isn't the only Joss Whedon character returning to Dark Horse Comics next year.

The Continuum has learned that Dark Horse will be publishing a new Serenity mini-series, Serenity: Better Days.

Better Days will be written by Brett Matthews and penciled by Will Conrad; both worked on the previous Serenity mini-series.

Adam Hughes will provide at least one cover.

Serenity: Those Left Behind was a good start - let's hope that that continues. I know I liked Will Conrad and Laura Martin's work on it for sure.
