Kristen Bell joining Lost?


Moviehole reports that Kristen Bell may be auditioning for the part of Charlotte.

The casting call certainly sounds spot on:
" Late 20s. Very attractive in a naturalistic, athletic way, her looks are only one small part of charms. Precocious, loquacious, and funny, Charlotte a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world. On a personal level it is hard to crack the hard shell of poise and certainty around her, but when it DOES crack its like an egg; lots of repressed and pent up emotions spill out."

But not Lost - I'd watch almost anything to see Kristen Bell again but I don't I could stand the boredom that this show now induces in me.

I want her to do Lost for the same reason I'm glad Nathan is doing Desperate Housewives: it's good high-profile work. That'll be good for their careers.

I was just taking the selfish point of view - I am having trouble watching Lost these days. I resent having to watch 22 (or more) episodes for what should about 5 episodes worth of story. But yes, more generously, this should at least keep her (and Nathan on DH - and Lost too!) in the public eye. Hopefull this just means that Joss' $250 million Fray movie is just around the corner and Kristen Bell will be cast in the lead.

And that's a good dream, catalyst2. I believe esg and I share that dream.

I gave up on Lost part way through S1 - same with Desperate Housewives - which I will now be watching because Nathan is on it. But before that, I will be watching Nathan in One Life to Live as my favourite of the many actors who have played Joey Buchanan! (That was when I started watching OLTL on a semi-regular basis - because of Nathan.)

I watched all of S1 of Desperate Housewives but never really enjoyed it and haven't watched it since. I watched all of S1 & S2 of Lost but haven't enjoyed for a long whilst more recently I haven't even set the VCR if I am going to miss it. Just bored more than anything, I think.

Sorry, catalyst.....I very much enjoy Lost, and would be thrilled with Kristen on that show. It would be of course great for her, and the non- Veronica Mars /Lost watchers will finally get to see her amazing talent. Then she'll become an even bigger star. THEN, Joss will have to hire her for Fray. See, I have a plan :)
