Now *that* was a season finale!

Just finished watching Primeval e3-e6 and 6 (the S1 finale) is a beauty! I don't know who did the SFX for this episode but they were light-years ahead of anything else we have seen in the series to date. I loved the story - that a future predator travels through the anomaly but when you think about it, that's what happens from a dinosaur's point of view when we travel through an anomaly. Absolutely on-the-edge-of-my-seat action throughout and plot twists so cunning you could have put a tail on it and called it a weasel!

Also discovered that Series 1 is out on R4 DVD release NEXT WEEK! WOOHOO!

I swear Primeval has one of the best series finale I've seen to date, it's sad though that we have to wait until around May next year.

That finale was like a whole new group of writers moved in - it was sharper and faster than anything else in the season. The SFX were also a league above the usual too. It has opened up a whole new range of possibilities - if animals can come through, why not people?
