Primeval 1 & 2

catalyst2Just watched the first two episodes of Primeval. Not bad overall - some of the acting was a bit lame and occasionally the SFX didn't quite convince but those were relatively minor issues.
ETA: I tried to use an clip from the official site but I couldn't get it going so I have used a YouTube one instead.
I really liked the interactions between the "team" but I think I have been on the internet for too long because the moment I saw Stephen and Abby, I could immediately see Stabby 'shippers ahoy! There are tensions aplenty and enough hidden agendas that this should be interesting viewing. The creatures were menacing enough that I felt characters were at genuine risk and there's enough mystery in this to keep me thinking.
