Just a small splurge this time

While I was in Perth, I dropped into Quality Comics and Empire Toys as usual. I was fairly restrained this time: Firefly: The Official Companion: Volume Two, Angel Scriptbook Collection: Volume 2 and Redeemed: The Unauthorized Guide to Angel were the total extent of my buys. I've only had a quick look through all three but they all look fascinating reads. The only other thing I was tempted to buy was a Georges Jeanty-signed Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8: #1 (variant cover) but at AUS$60 that was too much even for an obsessive like me!

Ooh, I'm jealous. I don't even have Volume 1 of either of those - yet - and I haven't heard of "Redeemed". I have Keith Topping's book on Angel, "The Hollywood Vampire". Unfortunately it only covers till the end of Season 4. I have several other books on both Buffy and Angel that I have enjoyed and I'm looking forward to "Serenity Found" which will be coming out this summer.

I'm glad you had a good trip. It sounds like a great game - was it rugby?
