Magneto? Seriously?

catalyst2According to Variety, the second X-men spinoff will be Magneto, directed by David Goyer, written by Sheldon Turner. I certainly like Goyer's work on Batman Begins but Turner I don't know.
I can't say Magneto would have been my first pick - Mystique or Nightcrawler might have had more potential, I thought but then what do I know? I wouldn't have cancelled Drive!
