Bringing you the second part of this battle
Because of the disastrous losses on their right wing, the cavalry unit of the Dread RedSnake Warlord on that wing broke and fled out of contact with the successful infantry unit of Emperor GreenFrog the First. The infantry was left debating whether to wheel about and strike the vulnerable right wing of the second cavalry unit (currently being held by the Emperor's elite Harlequin bodyguards). The decision was made to hold position, let the second infantry unit reinforce the Harlequins and allow The Warlord to make the next move.

The RedSnake Warlord was able to rally his unit and attack again - the infantry had made the right decision because they were again able to hold their line and inflict significant casualties (33%) on the cavalry. On the other wing, the Harlequins were able to hold their line again and, bolstered by the presence of both their beloved Emperor and the fresh unit of infantry (which had taken a while to arrive, but at least it was in good order), inflicted high casualties (37.5%) on the cavalry facing them.

Just as it looked as victory was in the grasp of the Emperor, the RedSnake Warlord swung his cavalry on the right wing around to strike the edge of the infantry unit in front. This unit received significant losses (28%) rapidly and was danger of collapsing. Fortunately, because the Harlequins had inflicted such losses in the previous turn on the cavalry, that cavalry unit was pushed back. Rather than elect to pursue, the Harlequins now repayed the favour to the regular infantry and slid over to support them. At the same time, the Emperor also moved over to this flank. Buoyed by the presence of an elite unit and the Emperor, the infantry was able to hold steady despite its losses. At the same time, the previously untouched infantry on the other wing swung into action and came into contact with the already disordered cavalry.

The Warlord's cavalry on the left wing evaluated the situation (50% losses, pushed back and facing fresh troops) broke and fled the field. The remaining cavalry unit was steadied by the Redsnake Warlord's presence but when the unit next to it broke (plus losses of 60%) the Warlord was forced to flee the field in ignominy.
VICTORY FOR EMPEROR GREENFROG THE FIRST!!!!
The RedSnake Warlord was no longer the Dread of the border regions but the war was not yet won - RedSnake would be back!
